If you walk with the Lord for very long, you will encounter being slandered. Most people encounter this many times. People are constantly judging us as Christians.
What's difficult is, it's usually other Christians, which makes it hurt more. Nonetheless, when we are being slandered, we are faced with a choice of how we will react. I've both passed and failed this test at various times.

No one today really likes to hear the word submit. To submit means you are under someone else's authority, and who does not prefer to be in charge to being under someone else? But being able to submit to another's authority in a godly way is a must if you are to function correctly in the Body of Christ and especially if you are called to do a work for the Lord.

Were you beautiful or handsome in your youth? If you were, you know what it feels like to walk in favor. Doors open more easily for you, and people are either very nice or really nasty to you.
Favor is a test to see if you can handle more - more beauty, more wealth, more prestige.
